UrbanLight Recordings is a Kenyan Urban Gospel indie label out to change this generation and the next through urban music and art. #MiaKwaMia is the theme song for our mission to rally christian youth to live a life that exhibits their faith. Mia Kwa Mia (swahili for 100%) calls on all who believe in the UrbanLight Call to live out our faith 100% and let the world know as Jesus commanded in Matthew 5:14. The song was written and performed by all of our four recording and performing artistes (Patrick Irvine, Gregory XIII, Colly Kamili and Kamlesh Kagaba) under the moniker, UrbanLight Kikosi (swahili for UrbanLight Battalion) . The instrumentation was done by D.O. of Limelight Beats. It was recorded, mixed and mastered at Def Pound Africa Studios by Danson Jr. Additional recording and production was done by Othole for NYNP.
